Bear face fairy bread sandwich..

My little guy has been crazy for the fairy bread sandwiches lately.  They are very easy to do, so I don't mind making them for him. I have simple instructions for making a fairy bread sandwich HERE. I gave this bear fairy bread sammy a bit of personality by adding some candy eyes and a candy nose. I think this may be one of my favorite fairy bread sandwiches that I've made.

Planters NUTrition peanut butter rollup

My little guy loves peanut butter, and he loves bananas. I found a very interesting peanut butter mix at the Dollar Tree the other day...Planters NUTrition banana granola nut energy mix. Since it was brand name Planters, I decided to give it a try. It is very thick, chunky, and crunchy, so if you don't like chunky peanut butter, this is definitely not for you. It has a very subtle banana flavor and little bits of granola and nuts mixed in it. The little guy really liked this peanut butter, It is all-natural, made with real bananas, and is very nutrient dense. I would consider it more of an adult peanut butter (it would be great on Ritz crackers). But, I'm glad Z likes it. Yay!!! I can change up the 'ole PB&J a bit now.

Mini hearts Fairy bread sandwich....

I really love fairy bread sandwiches, and I love hearts. So, why not combine the two, I say. I put a different spin on this heart fairy bread sandwich....instead of 1 big heart in the middle of the bread, I made several small hearts. I really like how the apple turned out, too.  I cut a small apple in half, carved out the center into the shape of a heart, and filled it with Craisins.....sort of an apple bowl, I guess.

To make a "Fairy bread sandwich", cut out any shape of your choosing from the top slice of bread. A cookie cutter works great for this. Then, fill the cavity with any sprinkles you like. I used Wilton Valentine confetti sprinkles. Simple as that!
