Broke out the Pampered Chef Cut-n-seal for today's lunch. This is such a neat tool. My kids love the store bought peanut butter and jelly Uncrustables, and the Cut-n-seal makes the perfect sealed pocket sandwich. I turned this sammy into a bear with a bit of Swiss cheese and some olives. This box is very small, so I added some yogurt in the bear snack container (this little container came from my local Dollar Tree.). I also included a package of Brothers-All-Natural freeze dried peach fruit crisps. We love the BAN freeze dried fruit. The fruit crisps are all natural, preservative free, and gluten free. There's no added sugar or artificial colors. They are 100% fruit, nothing else. They are a healthy and convenient alternative to fresh fruit. The fruit crisps come in several varieties of fruit.....peach, strawberries, apples, bananas, pears, mixed berries, pineapple (there are other fruits, too). My kids love these packages as snacks.
In this lunch:
*chicken salad sealed pocket sandwich with Swiss cheese and black olives for nose, eyes, and ears
*Rold Gold pretzel snaps
*sweet corn and red cherry tomatoes
*black olives
*Yoplait yogurt in the bear cup
*Brothers-All-Natural freeze dried peach fruit crisps
I added a couple of fun bear picks for some additional cuteness.

Star Student fairy bread sandwich...
Well, this is the last day for Z to be the Star Student of the Week. This has been a good week for him, and I think he's a bit disappointed that's it's over. He really enjoyed being the line leader all week. Here's one last star themed lunch to end the week. I used my Pampered Chef cut-n-seal to make Z a sealed star fairy bread sandwich. I have simple how-to directions for making a fairy bread sandwich HERE.
This lunch is packed in Easy Lunch Boxes.
*almond butter and all-fruit spread fairy bread sandwich with star cutout and rainbow sprinkle center
*honey wheat pretzel sticks
*red cherry tomatoes and carrot rounds with 'Star Student' pick (I cut out the carrot centers with a mini star cutter.)
*Fuji and Granny Smith apples and green grapes (I cut the centers of the apples out with a small star cutter and then swapped the centers.)
*Hershey's mini Mr. Goodbar in the orange suitcase style cup

Uncrustables snowman...
Well, it looks like I'm on a winter themed lunch kick here, so I guess I'll keep it going with a snowman lunch. My kids love the Uncrustable sealed peanut butter and jelly sandwiches that are in the frozen section of the grocery store. I made my own healthier version using the Pampered Chef Cut-n-Seal tool. I love this thing. There really are so many uses for it. Aside from making the Uncrustable sandwich, it can be used to cut circles from bread, cookie dough, pizza dough.....anything really. It's great for making stuffed pizza pockets, fruit pies, and those super cute sealed half sandwiches. Ummm....wait. I think I'll stop here. I definitely see a Cut-n-Seal blog post in the making.
Anyway, this little guy turned out very cute. It's hard to tell in the picture, but the carrots are cut into tiny snowmen. Cute, huh??
This lunch is packed in Easy Lunch Boxes.

Fall Fairy sandwich
Here is lunch #2 for my week of fall themed lunches. I used my Pampered Chef Cut-n-Seal to make this sealed "fairy sandwich". I have made sandwiches like this before, but I didn't realize there was a name for them until I saw this super cute squirrel fairy sandwich over at Feeling A Little Lunchy (see it HERE). Isn't it cute? I could have gone a little heavier with the leaf sprinkles on my sandwich, but it still turned out cute.
To make a "Fairy sandwich", cut out any shape of your choosing from the top slice of bread. A cookie cutter works great for this. Then, fill the cavity with sprinkles. I used Wilton autumn leaves sprinkles. I used the Pampered Chef Cut-n-Seal to make a sealed pocket Fairy sandwich. The leaf cookie cutter that I used in my sandwich came from Hobby Lobby last fall.
This lunch is packed in Easy Lunch Boxes.
*peanut butter and all-fruit spread "fairy sandwich"
*cheddar cheese pretzels with leaf pick on top
*red seedless grapes with fall flower pick
*baby sweet pickle
*carrot rounds and green olives with acorn pick
